We are currently seeking:
Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher (Full-time) Pay: $19.08 – $21.05 per hour
Endicott Preschool is seeking a Full-time Lead Teacher for our Pre-Kindergarten/UPK half-day program starting Fall 2026. This individual must possess either:
● an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field; or
● a Child Development Associate Credential or other OCFS-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period; and one year of experience related to caring for children; or
● nine college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, with a plan of study leading to a Child Development Associate Credential, other OCFS-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period, or
● an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field; and two years of experience related to caring for children.
This is a September through June yearly position, hours are 8:30-3:30, Monday through Friday. Additionally one and a half hours per week for team planning. The AM class is 9:00-11:30, and the PM class is 12:30-3:00. Teacher orientation begins the week of August 31. This is an OCFS licensed position which requires fingerprinting, a state background check, and annual paid training.
Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant (Full-time) Pay: $16.83 – $17.33 per hour
Endicott Preschool seeks AM/PM full-time (32.75 hrs per week) Teacher Assistant of Pre-Kindergarten beginning Fall 2026. Position performs Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 3:15 pm with an extra half-hour team planning time three days a week. Teacher orientation begins the week of August 31. This is an OCFS-licensed position and requires fingerprinting, a state background check, and annual paid training. As the teacher assistant, you will assist the lead teacher in all aspects of the classroom and be able to lead the class when the teacher is absent. Credentials preferred, but not required: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the Council for Professional Recognition or at least 12 college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or early childhood special education.
Preschool Assistant Teacher (Part-time) Pay: $16.83 – $17.33 per hour
Endicott Preschool seeks AM part-time Assistant Teacher of Pre-Kindergarten beginning Fall, 2026. Teacher orientation week begins August 31. Position performs Tuesday and Thursday from 8:30am – 11:45am. Additionally, one half-hour per week for team planning. This is an OCFS licensed position and requires fingerprinting, a state background check, and annual paid trainings. Credentials preferred: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the Council for Professional Recognition or at least 12 college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or early childhood special education. Preschool Floater Assistant (Full-time) Pay: $16.00 per hour
Endicott Preschool seeks a full-time preschool support floater and supervisor of preschoolers during teacher lunch sessions. Duties also include helping set-up and tear-down indoor play areas. Required: ● Dependable attendance ● Ability to lift up to 40 pounds ● Physically able to engage in floortime activities with preschool children Individual must become licensed through NYS OCFS (Office of Children and Family Services) which requires fingerprinting, a state background check, and paid trainings. Position performs September through June each academic year. Teacher orientation week begins August 31. When preschool is in session, hours are Monday-Friday 8:45am-3:15pm.
