Pre-Kindergarten Lead Teacher (Full-time) Pay: $19.08 – $21.05 per hour

Endicott Preschool is seeking a Full-time Lead Teacher for our Pre-Kindergarten/UPK half-day program starting Fall 2026. This individual must possess either:
● an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field; or
● a Child Development Associate Credential or other OCFS-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period; and one year of experience related to caring for children; or
● nine college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, with a plan of study leading to a Child Development Associate Credential, other OCFS-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period, or
● an Associate’s degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field; and two years of experience related to caring for children.
This is a September through June yearly position; hours are 8:30-3:30, Monday through Friday. Additionally, one and a half hours per week are for team planning. The AM class is 9:00-11:30, and the PM class is 12:30-3:00. Teacher orientation begins the week of August 31.
Candidate must be fluent in English, able to lift 40 pounds, easily transition to and from the floor for playtime, and be able to move quickly and respond immediately to active children.
This is an OCFS-licensed position which requires fingerprinting, a state background check, and annual paid training.
This position does not provide health or retirement benefits.

Pre-Kindergarten Teacher Assistant (Full-time) Pay: $16.83 – $17.33 per hour

Endicott Preschool seeks an AM/PM full-time (32.75 hrs per week) Teacher Assistant of Pre-Kindergarten beginning Fall 2026. Position performs Monday – Friday from 8:30 am – 3:15 pm with an extra half-hour team planning time three days a week. Teacher orientation begins the week of August 31.
Candidate must be fluent in English, able to lift 40 pounds, easily transition to and from the floor for playtime, able to move quickly and respond immediately to active children, and able to lead the classroom when the lead teacher is absent.
This is an OCFS-licensed position and requires fingerprinting, a state background check, and annual paid training.
Credentials preferred, but not required: A current Child Development Associate (CDA) issued by the Council for Professional Recognition or at least 12 college credits in early childhood education, child development, elementary education, or early childhood special education.
